On October 2nd Jessica and I are going to see Ennio Moriccone conduct the Rome Symphony Orchestra. You might or might not be familiar with the name but he has composed the scores to many movies from all over the world. He composed the music to many spaghetti westerns and thus has influenced that particular genre of film scores. If you've seen "The Mission" , "Once Upon a Time in America" or "The Untouchables" you've heard his music. He has several other works that have been written for other venues as well.
