Doughnuts

For those of you who know my loathing (in the truest sense of the word) of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts....

I found this article and heard myself giving a hearty "Hear hear!!". I'm on the DD side of the fence. KK doughnuts are entirely too sweet. The only thing is, there is no mention of the ever so wonderful Canadian doughnut chain Tim Horton's that is slowly moving into the US.

Inceidentally one of the "[o]ther 1,700 international Dunkin' Donuts stores in 29 countries" is one sub-stop up from my place...

Well, I'll have to admit to occasionally enjoying a Krispy Kreme donut (the ones with chocolate frosting on top and white frosting inside)--after all, I live in Krispy Kreme's hometown--but Dunkin' Donuts are definitely better!

Got my first real taste of DD in Chicago this summer and I tend to agree with you. Not a real fan of either place's doughnuts since my taste for sweets is minimal. But DD has coffee that is better than Starbucks and cheaper as well as other stuff. So DD wins.

I agree, bard--DD coffee is definitely way better than Starbucks! (Of course, just about any coffee is better than Starbucks, imho...)
