Things that are yummy

A few family favourites that are super easy to make and rather good. The first one is something we got from my sister-in-law. Her family makes it at Christmas. I actually made them in the dorms while at BJ. The second is from a cookbook that came with our microwave.

Oyster Bits
24 oz. oyster crackers
1 pkg ranch dressing mix
1 tsp dill weed
1 c. oil
1.5 tsp lemon pepper
1/4 tsp garlic salt

Mix all but crackers together then pour over the crackers. Let sit for one hour stirring occasionally.

Chocolate Pudding Cake
2 tbs butter
1 c. all purpose flour
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbs cocoa
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 chopped nuts (I prefer Pecans)
3/4 c. light brown sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1 1/4 c. cocoa

Melt butter. In mixing bowl combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk, butter, vanilla and nuts. Pour into 8" microwaveable dish. In a seperate bowl mix brown sugar, cocoa and water. Pour over batter, do not mix in. Cover and cook on high 9-11 min. Let stand about 10 min. Yummy with ice cream or whipped cream.
