So I just got reliable internet. Again. But that was because if we wanted to watch TV we had to unhook the internet and vice versa but the internet did not want to re-connect after being unhooked. So now we finally got it fixed.
It's gotten much cooler here. I actually turned my fan off and used my covers last night. This was a first since getting here. No AC yet but at this point it's not that big of a deal.
School has gotten off to a good start. I'm going to like the High School kids. The biggest issue is going to be getting them to stop speaking Korean when they are not to be. I'm enjoying teaching "my" former 6th graders. Grade 10 are not the most interactive of classes but they are getting better. Then there are the kids in grade 8. They need a bit of work but have lots of potential.I became a favourite teacher yesterday when I had them observe brownies. Of course they got to eath them when they were done. My schedule has changed again but not in an overly large way. Hardly any kids signed up for chior (only 2 during my hour) so they are switching those hours to the school paper and yearbook. My hour will be the former. I think that is starting next week.
